A typical entry for the time of year saw some 265 store cattle presented with plenty of buyers around the ringside ensuring a brisk trade throughout. The mart again drew vendors from a wide area and saw steers selling to a top price of £672 for a bunch of four Simmentals from Brian Raymond, Nantymab Isaf, Nantgaredig. Beef heifers continue to sell well achieving a top price of £582 for bunches of Limousins entered by Bailey, Pensarn, Swyddfynnon and Harries, Ciliauwen, Letterston. Overall steers levelled at £462 with heifers at £420. Young bulls sold to £300 from Frizell, Cwmgarw Woolands, Rhosfach, and barren cows made a top price of £590 from Cumming, Blaencwarre, Hermon.
