Safe Haven Homeless CIC is launching its first fundraising event - ‘Breakfast at The Station House’ - in Whitland to support homeless services.

Safe Haven Homeless CIC is being set up to provide a safe location with a varied support package to help homeless people in the locality who are desperate to get their lives back on track.

The first fundraising event will be ‘Breakfast at The Station House’ Public House in Whitland on Saturday, May 9, from 10am onwards.

“We are intending to provide a centre in the local area to help re-house homeless people and help them with services such as access to benefits, health treatments, mental wellbeing, and trade training to get their lives back on track,” remarked Safe Haven Homeless director Stephen Cox.

“To do this, we are funding a centre from grant money, and we are also running events to provide seed money to help us with administrative costs, etc.”

You can find the Station House (SA34 0AP) by Whitland train station. There is plenty of free parking at the side and rear.
