A West Carmarthenshire police station is earmarked for closure.
Whitland police station in St. Mary Street is likely to close within as little as a year.
The station is one of 13 in the Dyfed Powys Police Force area to close, saving £1.1 million over 10 years.
The closure was recommended in a report which looked into all the force's buildings.
It states that Whitland could easily be converted to residential use and raise £75,000 to £100,000 from being sold, plus saving £4,600 a year in running costs and £20,500 in maintenance over 10 years.
