A Feast of Music and Jazz
The school choir, various soloists, instrumentalists and the jazz group will keep you entertained during the evening, under the leadership of Mrs. Lynne Davies, head of music.
Guest artiste for the evening will be Mr. Peter Totterdale, an ex-pupil of the school, who has sung with many local choirs.
It promises to be a feast of entertainment not to be missed, so please go along and support the pupils at this event. Tickets are £5 each, and are available at the school reception.
Cricket Club
Last week's 49 Club winner with number 29 was Rob Devonald.
Tonight (Friday) is curry night at the club, 7 pm.
Fixtures for tomorrow (Saturday): Whitland 1st X1 home to St. Ishmaels 1st XI in Division One; Whitland 2nd XI away to St. Ishmaels 2nd XI in Division Three; Whitland 3rd XI away to Carew 3rd XI in Division Five. All matches start at 1.45 pm.

Bingo is tonight (Friday) at 8.30 pm.
Also tonight, Whitland 2nd XV are away to Bonymaen 2nd XV, kick-off 7.15 pm.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Whitland 1st XV are home to Bonymaen 1st XV, kick-off 2.30 pm, while on Bank Holiday Monday, May 4, Whitland Youth play Cardigan Youth in the final of the Pembrokeshire Youth Cup final at Crymych RFC, kick-off 2.30 pm.
Meat draw
Winners of the Whitland Sports and Social Club meat draw this week were as follows: 1. £15 meat voucher - Dianne (Bar); 2. £15 meat voucher - Fuestent; 3. two pints - Percy Thomas; 4. £5 - Louis Price. Tomorrow (Saturday), the first three prizes will be the same again, with the fourth being £5 cash for which the winner must be present to claim the prize.
