After leaving school in 1972/4, old pupils and staff had a second reunion on Friday at Whitland Rugby Club.
It was once again great to be back with old friends and to have some new attendees who hadn't made the first reunion - but sorry to be missing some through other commitments and illness.
"We thoroughly enjoyed the evening," said Ruth, who organised the event and wore red and navy in homage of the old uniforms.
"I've never worn them together before because as soon as I see the two colours together I think Whitland school!"
Pictures and a write-up of the night can be found at http://www.whitlandreunion.blogspot.com">www.whitlandreunion.blogspot.com. Please leave comments there and also vote for what/when you want another get-together (people were asking when the next one was going to be on Friday night).
Would any ex-pupils who joined Whitland Grammar in 1967 and who haven't been in touch, please forward their emails or phone numbers to Ruth on 831298 or email [email protected]">[email protected] so that you can be notified when the next reunion is being arranged.
If you haven't been to a reunion before, its not as scary as you imagine - and everyone gets along fantastically well!
