Whitland Male Voice Choir will be holding a concert in aid of Cruse Bereavement Care next month.

The concert will be held at Whitland Town Hall on Friday, February 17, commencing at 7.30 pm.

Cruse is a national charity with almost 60 years of knowledge and specialist experience providing personal and confidential help to bereaved people of all ages.

Anyone can access Cruse’s free bereavement support service by calling their local referral line number 01437 891006 for support in Pembrokeshire, 01267 267009 in Carmarthenshire, or 01239 621141 in Ceredigion.

The work of Cruse in West Wales has been recognised by the High Sheriff of Dyfed, Professor Medwin Hughes DL, at a recent reception. He gave a touching speech about the work carried out by the organisation in West Wales, emphasising that Cruse’s service saves lives and provides essential support to the community.

Whitland Male Choir has been in existence for well over 100 years. The choir has raised funds for many charities and has performed in concerts and festivals in this country and across Europe, including representing the Welsh Association of Male Choirs at the Celtic Festival in Lorient, Brittany.

With such a history, this promises to be a really entertaining evening. Come along and support the choir and Cruse.
