Pembroke UndER 10s 4 Whitland 5
Whitland Under 10s travelled to Pembroke where, on a heavy pitch, they took advantage of the downhill slope first half.
The side, captained by Morgan Short, made an impressive start, with a good break by Jack Richards, which resulted in the first try. This was soon followed by a second Jack Richards try, which was the result of hard work by the front row, Charlie Williams, Sam Davies and Sion Benjamin.
Whitland continued to dominate during the first half, with good pressure being put on the Pembroke backs by Morgan Short and Daniel Evans in the back row. However, Pembroke were quick to relieve the pressure with the benefit of long clearance kicks, which were handled well by Whitland wings, Iestyn Bowen and Steffan Morgan.
Eventually, Pembroke put on sufficient pressure resulting in a well-deserved first try. Whitland returned the score after good work by Antonio Setaro at scrum-half, who provided good service to the backs throughout the game, finding Morgan Short supporting well, who charged over from close quarters to make the half-time score 3-1 to Whitland.

With the referee indicating two minutes left to play, Whitland picked up the tempo, which resulted in an impressive break on the outside by Sam Davies, who showed excellent speed to brush off defenders and put wing Steffan Morgan in to score the winning try tight in the corner.
