As recently reported, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Cymru Narberth branch has provided 100 per cent funding for a new life-saving piece of equipment for Whitland Sports and Social Club.
Training is scheduled to take place tomorrow (Saturday), but so far only three names have been put forward.
It is hoped that with the help of the town council, the defibrillator can be sited in St. John Street so that access can be obtained at all times.
At least 12 people are needed to come forward for the training by the Welsh Ambulance Service.
Anyone interested in taking part in the training is asked to contact John Seeley on 07572 384243 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
"This is a vital piece of lifesaving equipment that was presented to us by the British Heart Foundation, so please could you come forward to be trained to use it!" said John.
