An open day is being held for youngsters interested in joining the Air Training Corps.
The 2420 (Whitland) Squadron is holding an event for teenagers aged between 13 and 17, who want an insight into the Royal Air Force (writes Cadet Corporal Stephanie Thomas).
The open day is on Saturday, October 29, and will run from 1 to 4 pm, at the squadron's base, next to the Fire Station in Whitland.
There will be refreshments made available throughout the day.
Youngsters and their families are invited to find out more and get information about flying, gliding, shooting and lots more fun activities.
The ATC also provides the opportunity for young people to develop their communication skills, teamwork and leadership skills through fun and adventurous activities.
Cadet Sargeant Kieran Cotterell, who is currently organising the event, said: "The open day will display all that the cadets have to offer and allow young people to speak to serving cadets and get a true insight into what they can achieve."
"Four cadets have recently returned from a regional shooting competition where they represented Number 3 Welsh Wing and 2420 Whitland Squadron and were very successful," he added.
"We hope you are able to attend this event and a warm welcome to everybody who attends," said Cadet Corporal Stephanie Thomas.
