The Friends of Sageston School have been busy over the last 18 months raising funds for a new interactive white board for the infants. Fund-raising through quizzes, discos, Easter egg hunts, reindeer food and cake sales, and both the Boxing Day and New Year's Day swims, plus a donation from Texaco, Pembroke, finally produced enough funds to beat the intended target. At a recent handover, two white boards and a special smart board version for the infants were handed over to the school. The school would like to thank everyone who contributed to the fund-raising efforts, especially two ex-pupils, Jamie Lewis and Sophie Thomas, who braved the Boxing and New Years Day swims.
