Chairman of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Wynne Evans, gave a warm welcome to council chiefs from across Wales last week when a whistlestop tour of the county was arranged, finishing at the St. Brides Hotel and Spa as guests of the proprietor, Andrew Evans.

Clr. Evans said: “This gave me the opportunity to showcase the many aspects of tourism and hospitality that this county has become renowned for.

“Many returned home praising the achievements of Pembrokeshire and the visitors were also in agreement that their own counties could learn much from us in marketing and promotion in the tourism field.”

Clr. Evans is seen with Andrew Evans, proprietor of St. Brides, civic heads from Powys, Neath, Port Talbot, Cerdigion, Carmarthen and the Lord Mayor of Swansea, Gwyneth Johns, Phil Odley, chairman of Saundersfoot Tourism, Clr.
