What’s your favourite book? To celebrate World Book Day we have a display of favourite books chosen by staff and library users. Come and see if anything appeals to you, and see if we have your favourite in stock!
We also have our collection of Italian-themed books on display to bring some Mediterranean sunshine to our erratic Spring weather, or if your heart belongs to Pembrokeshire, we also have a display of local-themed books.
We have some lovely new books in this month, including ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine’, ‘The Secret Lives of the Amir Sisters’ by Bake-Off winner Nadiya Hussain, and a collection of short stories called ‘The Lady of the Castle and other stories’ by local author John Tonks. In non-fiction we also have ‘Posh Pancakes’,‘The Cinemas of West Wales’ and ‘Fire and Fury: inside the Trump White House’, the widely-discussed biography of Donald Trump.
Our Gadget Drop-In sessions with Roger are still available on Mondays 10 am - 12 noon in Tenby Library and he also holds a drop-in session in Saundersfoot Library on the second Tuesday of the month, again from 10 am - 12 noon. Call Saundersfoot or Tenby Libraries to confirm his availability.
On Monday, March 12, we have Jo, the PAVS Community Connector, here from 10 am - 12 noon. Community Connectors help link community and voluntary groups with third-sector organisations and other services.
Printing, photocopying and laminating are all available in the library. Printing and photocopying prices range from 10p - 60p, and laminating is 50p for A4 and 75p for A3.
Easter is at the beginning of April this year and Tenby Library is closed for Easter weekend, Friday - Monday; Saundersfoot Library is open that weekend and switches over to Summer opening times.
