What's in a name, Warren Street - Was this a place for folks to meet Down myriad alleys, or Lady Park, Once sauntered a dame, who after dark Would wend her way round her demesne Thus giving rise to this road's name; Was The Croft ever a small tied farm, Much grander now, its edifices calm; Were the poor housed in Penniless Cove Hill, What is well cracked, in Crackwell still; The Glebe would have helped a local priest, On the Esplanade, he'd take Sunday feast, Was Greenhill Avenue, a verdant green? Did Victoria Street host our Empress Queen, St. Mary's, St. Julian's, St. George's as well, Holy names casting a spiritual spell; Two Frog Streets there are, Lower and Upper With Taverns that served a Goodwife's supper, So old these are, within Tenby town walls, Once cobbled, now metalled, they still enthral.
