Sir,
After the recent Pembrokeshire Local Health Board meeting, I have come to realise that we are not going to have in-patient beds at their chosen site in Gas Lane, but a medical centre next to a doctor's surgery. My disappointment I know is shared by the population of the area. Our health services have been downgraded, with the beds being placed in the private sector and not being serviced by our present band of dedicated nurses.
I cannot believe that the views of the people, the letters of support from our elected representatives have been totally ignored. Decisions regarding Tenby's health provision have been made by civil servants and bureaucrats.
What price democracy?
