Sir,

I was amazed to see the letters in the press recently about the St. Catherine's Island project, and incomers to Tenby telling us how we should run our town. What a cheek.

Tenby is desperate to have an attraction in the town which will bring visitors flooding through our streets to the harbour.

All can have a snap at the business, but we locals know the fort should have been developed years ago.

Who is it who can't see the 24 shops empty every winter and some all year round. Surely opening the fort is better than sending visitors to out-of-town attractions.

I as a local am disgusted with these comments from out-of-towners. (Maybe not a NIMBY, but certainly a numpty - a great description!).

Tenby resident,

born and bred.
