Congratulations to Tenby Golf Club junior captain, Sam Morgan, who has been selected to represent Wales at Under 16 level in the McGregor Trophy at Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club, Nottingham. Sam (pictured) has previously represented his country at Under 14 and Under 15 levels and he is delighted with the honour since the competition for places gets more intense every year. Sam has had a busy season so far on the 'Junior Tour' and has performed well at the Central Wales Boys Championships, the North Wales Boys Championships, and particularly impressed the selectors, last weekend when he 'made the cut' and qualified in the last 36 of a strong field, which included competitors from England and Portugal in the Welsh Under 21 Open Youth Championships in gale force winds at Langland Bay Golf Club.
