Pembrokeshire's Youth Information Service has been presented with a national award. The service has been awarded the Canllaw Online Award for Outstanding Contributions to Information Services for Young People. Canllaw Online, which aims to bring better life choices to young people in Wales through access to quality information, praised the Youth Service for its work in developing information services. Groups of youngsters across the county have been working with the youth service to produce a range of information leaflets on issues affecting young people today. Among them have been students at Greenhill School in Tenby, who have also produced a healthy eating recipe book called Fit Fab Food. The Youth Information Service is one of a number of services provided by Pembrokeshire County Council as part of the Young People's Partnership. Copies of information leaflets for young people are available from the Youth Information Service or you can download copies from Pembrokeshire County Council's website for young people: http://www.pembrokeshireyouthzone.co.uk">www.pembrokeshireyouthzone.co.uk. Information for young people is also available on the Mobile Zone - the Youth Information Service's mobile information bus - which regularly visits schools and other locations across the county.
