Athletes from all eight school districts across Wales descended on Cardiff on Saturday for the 69th Welsh Schools Athletic Association Track and Field Championships.

With entries numbering over 600 across the age groupings, competition for medals was tough at the International Sports Stadium. Many of last year’s champions returned to defend titles at this multi-sport event.

Following on from her success at the Dyfed Schools Championships last month, Tegan Foley, represented Dyfed and Ysgol Greenhill School.

As well as being reserve for the middle girls 100m, Tegan won bronze medals in both the 200m and 4x 100m relay.
