Sir, I was asked by Mrs. Sharon Davies, head of Manorbier School, to go along to the Service of Remembrance on November 11 and bring along some Royal British members. I arranged the standard bearer, Scottish piper and veterans, also Clr. Trevor Hallett. The service was conducted by Mrs. Davies, the children sang wartime songs, and they laid a poppy cross with the name of each soldier who died from the parish of Manorbier, 11 in all. The staff and children had worked so hard researching every soldier killed during the First World War. It is a fantastic exhibition and is open to the public until the New Year. Parents and friends baked cakes to sell and up to date, they have raised £105. Well done all at Manorbier School. We must remember never to forget.
Gordon Prime, Legion D'Honneur, President, Tenby Royal British Legion,
Jameston.
