EVERYONE at N. D. Toy and Partners Ltd. would like to congratulate Chris Brace on his recent achievement. After hours of study, numerous courses and seminars, Chris recently sat and passed his advanced Certificate in Lifetime Mortgages (CeLTM). Simon Toy commented: "Chris's success reflects a considerable achievement and demonstrates his knowledge and understanding of the issues involved with lifetime mortgage advice and practice. I am delighted to present Chris with his certificate in recognition of his accomplishment." Chris thanked Simon and all at N. D. Toy and Partners Ltd., for their support and team effort, without which he would not have had the time needed to complete the syllabus and pass the exam. "It was important that I obtained the exam because the Financial Services Authority (FSA) have made this qualification compulsory for those advisers who want to advise clients within the area of equity release/lifetime mortgages. "As a firm, we have seen a large increase in the number of clients requiring advice on this subject as more and more clients are becoming asset rich, but capital poor. Many are able to release funds from their property to boost retirement income, provide a lump sum deposit for their children who are first time property buyers etc. There are numerous reasons why clients wish to release funds from their property, but the advice has be right. This contract does not suit everyone and many other options should be considered first, such as down-sizing to another property. This is exactly why the FSA have regulated this area of advice and why they insist that all financial advisers wishing to give advice in this area must attain the CeLTM exam." N. D. Toy and Partners Ltd are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
