Local plantsman, Graham Smith created the title to single out the plant fairs held all over the South West attended by specialist and dedicated nursery men, offering for sale a wide selection of carefully nurtured plants, shrubs, trees and herbs.
If you are looking for something a little different along with expert advice, then 15 or more of the region's finest plantsmen and women will be in the meadow at Colby just waiting to help you solve your gardening problems.
The plant fair will be open from 11 am until 4 pm and follows the Pembrokeshire Flower Arrangers' competition, which will be held on Saturday. The winning exhibits will still be on display and children can have a go at creating their own arrangements to take home.
The display of rhododendrons and azaleas in the garden is at its best this month, so why not combine a visit to enjoy the riot of colour with a tour of some of Pembrokeshire's best nurseries all in one place.
Normal admission to the gardens and plant fair, £2.80 adults, £1.40 children, National Trust members free.
