Local cricketer Steven (Clew) Lewis was bowled over by his bride Laura Parsons when they were married at Picton Castle on Friday. The groom is the only son of Clive and Bronwen Lewis, of Carew, while the bride is the youngest daughter of Helen McDermott and Andrew Hatton, of Hundleton. Given away by her mother, the bride wore a white strapless gown with exquisite black embroidery beading and pearls, with a chapel-length train. Bridesmaid was Miss Sophie Parsons (bride's sister), and the best man was Robert Williams. Following the ceremony, which was conducted by Joy Walker, a marquee reception was held at Lawrenny Cricket Ground. The couple are making their home in Sageston.
