Fed up with trekking around the country visiting under-attended wedding fayres, Tom and Beryl Hazelden set out to create a local wedding fayre, supporting local businesses.
In their fourth year, Tom and Beryl have grown the Pembrokeshire Wedding Fayre into the county's largest, with this year over 100 exhibitors attending.
Not content with championing local businesses, Tom and Beryl ensure that local charities benefit from the 'local' effect.
"We have always believed that business is not just about generating local income, but that it gives something back into the community as well," said Tom, wedding fayre organiser.
Income from the fayre itself supports the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society and monies raised from refreshments and the raffle are donated to the Paul Sartori Foundation. The Spitting Pig donate a spit roast pig and all sales of pig rolls are donated to Withybush Children's Ward.
"It is great to see local business generating awareness and income in these difficult economic times for local charities," said Dale Barker, of the Paul Sartori Foundation.
The County Wedding Fayre takes place on Sunday, 11 am - 4 pm, at The Brithdir Hall, Withybush Showground, Haverfordwest.
