The ever-popular County Wedding Fair took place at the weekend. Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society presented the spectacular fair at the County Show Pavilion, County Showground, Haverfordwest, on Sunday. One of the largest fairs in Wales, everything needed to make your wedding a day to remember was showcased at the event. There were over 80 stands from businesses in Pembrokeshire and the borders covering all aspects of the big day. Representatives of the businesses manned the stands and were only too happy to talk to prospective brides and grooms and give advice and help. With an ever-growing number of wedding services requesting to attend the fair, there was also the addition of hotels and wedding venues at the event. There was also an entry prize draw for both brides and grooms, with the prize sponsored by Hylton John, the men's and boys' shop, Haverfordwest. Teas and coffees were served by the Paul Sartori Foundation, while Pembrokeshire Spit Roasts were also on hand with tasty refreshments. "It was a brilliant day," said the organisers afterwards. "There was a very very good turnout and it showcased the whole of what this area has to offer."
