A little bit of history was made by Mr. Mike Paxton, of Tenby, and Mrs. Pauline Gartside, of Pembroke, recently, when they became the first couple to be married at the new Pembroke Dock Register Office.

The groom is the son of Mr. Ian Paxton, of Hanover Court, Tenby, and the late Mrs. Dorothy Paxton.

Witnesses for the ceremony, conducted by Mrs. Joy Walker, were Mr. and Mrs. H. Holland, of Osnok, Southcliffe Street, Tenby, while also in attendance was the bride's hearing dog, Zara.

A reception was held at the Dial Inn, Lamphey, and the couple are making their home at 31A Windsor Road, Pembroke.
