After the disappointing health meetings in Pembrokeshire, when the NHS Trust and the Local Health Board both opted for a reprovision of Tenby Cottage Hospital services without on-site inpatient beds, Christine Gwyther AM has called upon Jane Hutt to meet local residents.
Christine said: "We cannot give up this fight until it is over. We all know what the outcome of this exercise should have been - a modern, quality cottage hospital with beds on-site.
"I wrote to Jane Hutt earlier this year with a list of responses after 2,500 people wrote to me to say what was needed," she pointed out.
"Now the business case document has gone to the Welsh Assembly Government, and the health minister, Jane Hutt, is our last chance to turn this around.
"If you have not already written to Jane Hutt, do it today," she urged.
