For the Saundersfoot Watercolour Group, it's that time of year again when the members who are all students of Saundersfoot watercolour artist Yvonne Mannings, of the Apple Tree Gallery, will show their work in the area.

On display will be a wide selection of original watercolour paintings which the artists have created in the last 12 months.

Some of the pictures will be still life studies and there will be many paintings depicting our glorious county.

The photograph here shows some of the members of the watercolour group taking a much-needed break after painting of a different kind, preparing and smartening up the display boards on which the paintings will be hung.

Later in the month of August, the Saundersfoot watercolourists will have an exhibition in the St. Issell's Church hall, this will coincide with the flower festival at St. Issell's from August 19-27.

However, the first of the exhibitions by the group will be in the village hall, Lawrenny, and it will be open for viewing daily from 11 am - 5 pm from August 3-13.

And so a visit to Lawrenny to feast your eyes on their lovely paintings and cards printed from some of the paintings.
