Tenby fell silent at 11am on Sunday, November 9 as residents, Royal British Legion members, councillors, veterans and local organisations gathered to pay their respects for the Act of Remembrance at the seaside town’s War Memorial on South Parade.

The parade assembled in the grounds of St Mary’s Church, where prior to its departure for the cenotaph, a Service of Remembrance and reading of the Roll of Honour took place inside.

With ‘The Last Post’ played by the bugler at the War Memorial to signal two minutes silence, Tenby’s Mayor, Cllr Dai Morgan was then joined by other representatives to lay wreaths at the War Memorial, before the hymn ‘O God, Our Help In Ages Past’ was sung, and prayers.
