Pictured are a team of five traffic wardens, but before motorists get too concerned, they are not all meant for Tenby!

Most local residents will recognise Andrew Griffiths, who works full-time at Tenby, and Dave Powell, who works at Pembroke Dock.

Also in the photograph are Albert Moulsdale and Marie Pearce, who are residents of Pembrokeshire, and Stacey Fairhead, who is Australian and is travelling the world.

"She has chosen to work as a temporary traffic warden for the experience (drivers beware - she was born and brought up on an Australian cattle station, so she is adept at dealing with awkward customers!)," said Inspector Les Clark, of the Tenby police station.

"It is planned for the wardens to visit other towns in Pembrokeshire on a regular basis, including Saundersfoot, Narberth and Fishguard, where there is currently no warden."
