Police would like to hear from any members of the public or any shopkeepers/cashiers who may have information on two men who passed a number of forged Scottish £50 notes in Pembrokeshire last Thursday. It is known that both were using a foreign- registered vehicle and travelled throughout the county. Several failed attempts were made when the forgery was spotted by shop staff and refused. However, unfortunately, a number of attempts were successful, whereby the suspects would pass a note for low-value goods and pocket the change and leave the shop. If anyone has a note that they believe is a forgery, they can produce it at Haverfordwest Police Station for the information of PC436 Chris Grayell. Also, anyone who has any information that may help the investigation is asked to contact PC Grayell at Haverfordwest Police Station.
