Another ‘swashbuckling’ Narberth Carnival on Saturday saw hundreds take to the streets once again for the town’s colourful parade.
Although there was an ‘anything goes’ theme for general fancy dress entrants and floats - shops, pubs, restaurants and businesses were asked to get on board for 2025’s special pirate theme.
Civic Week chair Cllr Chris Walters said: “I just want to say a huge huge thank you to everybody who has supported us this week, from our sponsors, to the businesses in town, to the people who have donated to us prizes, all the floats all the walkers, all the carnival queens, the mums the dads, grandparents, you name it!
“We all hope you enjoyed our Civic Week, I’m really proud of what we’ve achieved this week. Thank you to all my committee who have worked so hard.
“Narberth Civic Week is all about the community, and if it wasn’t for you guys, we wouldn’t have a civic week.
“The floats today were outstanding, and everyone who participated should be really proud of themselves, because you have made Pembrokeshire’s best carnival today without a doubt
“I can’t thank everybody enough for all their efforts, it’s been brilliant, and we can’t wait and look forward to 2026,” he added.
