Concerns over the safety aspect of a fire engine pulling out of the fire station in Spring Gardens have been raised by a Narberth town councillor. At a recent meeting, Clr. Colin Williams reported that he had spoken to county council officer John Price regarding the matter.

Clr. Williams said he felt that there should be warning lights located in Spring Gardens.

Following discussion, it was resolved to write to the county council to request such lights, stating that the council was willing to make a financial contribution towards the cost. A copy of the letter was also to be sent to the fire brigade.
