Plans to illuminate the town walls in Tenby could initially see a scheme where just the arches are lit, before expanding the scheme further.
Clr. Mike Evans told his colleagues at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council that he had discussed the scheme further with the county council's Melissa Howells.
They would also take on board the fact that a resident actually lived in part of the town walls. "County Council are also to look into the cost of the scheme, but everything is progressing well," said Clr. Evans.
