This summer needn't be a challenge to entertain the whole family. The Pembrokeshire Wizard has appeared like magic to bring together the history, legend and mythology of the county in an interactive audio adventure. The CD features five circular quests in different locations within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which will provide both visitors and locals with days of fun and entertainment for all the family. The wizard, Prince Pwyll, guides the listener, either using a CD player, or the detailed maps and directions found in the Wizard's Almanac, to find the lost Golden Cup of Knowledge through a series of quests. These involve moderate walks fewer than 3.5-miles long (approximately 6,800 steps). During the walks, family members can discover the history and legends, while keeping the children amused and involved with a number of riddles and questions about the wildlife, which they write in the Almanac. "Families are often looking for a way to entertain the kids and this becomes a real issue at weekends - especially during the summer holidays. It is sometimes difficult to get them away from their computer games - the Pembrokeshire Wizard takes computer gaming into the 'real world', using new media to encourage kids to get outdoors and get active," commented Rosita Roles, marketing director. The Pembrokeshire Wizard retails at £19.99 and is available all over the county at Tourist Information Centres, visitor attractions and selected retail outlets, and can also be purchased via the website http://www.pembrokeshirewizard.co.uk">www.pembrokeshirewizard.co.uk.
