On Sunday, June 1, the Pembroke committee of Macmillan Cancer Support will be holding their annual four-mile sponsored walk around the Angle Peninsula. Everyone is invited to go along and enjoy the fresh air in a fun-filled afternoon, whilst helping this worthy charity at the same time. The Pembroke Silver Band will be on hand and all who complete the circuit will be given a free hot or cold drink and Welsh cakes. Other home-made refreshments will be on sale at reasonable prices. All proceeds will go directly to the South Wales appeal.
