The Wales Dragon Boat Championship 2016 sponsors attended the launch this week of the colourful special edition event t-shirt which is proudly adorned with all their logos.

The top quality t-shirts have been produced by local business, Tees ‘R’ Us, of New Hedges, whose Mr. Richard Lewis is seen presenting the finished product to Rotarian John Hughes, of Narberth and Whitland Rotary Club, the event organisers, who are pictured with representatives of the event sponsors proudly wearing their own t-shirts.

The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland would like to sincerely thank all their sponsors - The Burns Building Company, Cold Blow, Andrew Davies Plumbing & Heating, Andrew Price Hairdressers, Care in Hand, TempletonDirect.co.uk, Folly Farm, Dragon Palace Chinese Restaurant, Bullock Consulting Ltd, McCarthy & Stone Ltd, Knox and Wells Ltd, and the Herald Group Newspapers, whose support altogether has been invaluable in putting on the 2016 championship.

The Wales Dragon Boat Championship is taking place this Bank Holiday Sunday, May 29, at Llysyfran. There will be 18 teams competing, with the first race at around 10 am. Races will then be taking place throughout the day, with the winners being crowned at around 4 pm.

There will be plenty of fun for all the family, with a licensed bar, barbecue, entertainment, free children’s disco and free children’s rides and bouncy castle all day. Adult entry is just £2, with all proceeds from the event going to charity.
