Saundersfoot Festivities have teamed up with former Wales and British Lions legend Phil Bennett in promoting the Powells Cottage Holidays 2009 Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim.
He has worn the famous three feathers on his chest and ran out leading the Lions, but surely there could be not have been a prouder moment for the Welsh great than when he was asked to don the 2009 swim shirt to help promote the 25th anniversary 'Silver Swim'.
Phil Bennett will be joined by two other former Wales and Lions greats in the 'Become a Legend' campaign aimed at encouraging people to take part in the landmark swim.
Martyn Williams, chairman of Saundersfoot Festivities, said: "To have such a great Welsh individual show such support gives the swim a massive boost. Two other Welsh greats have agreed to wear the shirt, but their identities are under wraps for now."
Anyone wishing to purchase a shirt can order one via Evans Newsagents, Saundersfoot. All profits will be donated to Breast Cancer Wales.
