The worldwide audience for the forthcoming Harry Potter film will no doubt love the new production, but little will they know that when the litter free Freshwater West beach appears on screen, thanks are due to a dedicated team of local volunteers.

A recent clean-up at Freshwater West saw an excellent turnout of volunteers help collect more than 40 bags of litter from the beach.

Keep Wales Tidy, 3rd Pembroke Beaver Scouts, the National Trust, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the local Neighbourhood Policing Team, along with many other volunteers, all pulled together on a sunny Sunday morning to help leave the north end of the beach spotless in preparation for the filming.
