I wonder if people are aware that the Government plans to withdraw concessionary coach travel for the disabled and elderly, which will come into force at the end of October. This was decided at the Comprehensive Spending Review.

I am perplexed with a government that expresses the value of family when a considerable amount of people use coach travel to see parents, children, grandchildren (family), and now having to play full fare may struggle with visits.

Incidentally, this travel remains free in Scotland for disabled and elderly. Please contact your local MP and voice your protest.
