The West/South Wales Vintage Motorcycle Club will be holding its 46th Saundersfoot weekend on September 14, 15 and 16.

This is a big event for vintage motorcyclists locally and marks a welcome return after last year's rally had to be called off due to the fuel crisis.

The event will kick start on Friday, September 14, the local club will meet up with friends and fellow competitors at 8 pm at St. Brides Hotel.

On Saturday, September 15, members will assemble for the rally on Saundersfoot harbour at 9 am and the first bikes will leave at 10 am. They then leave in pairs at minute intervals until all have left Saundersfoot. On their way around the 90 mile circular route, the club has control points and the time each rider arrives at each will be noted. There are penalty points added if a rider arrives early or late or if they arrive at a control point from the wrong direction or miss it completely.

When the times are all in at the end of the day the results will be worked out.

On Sunday, September 16, at 10 am there will be a static display on Saundersfoot harbour followed by the prize giving before the riders leave at 11.15 am on a social run of 50 miles.

Members enjoy meeting and talking to anyone who would like to come and see them so why not pop along. All welcome.
