The Vikings, captained by Rob Luly, were full of determination and enthusiasm from the start. A quick try from Curtis Hurlow seemed to stun the opposition, but they replied quickly with three good tries.
With some great running and tackling from Tenby's Sam Ormond, Hugh James, Dylan Griffin and Cia Evans, they added another try by Curtis, but Cardigan crossed the line again to make the half-time score 5-2.
From the restart, Cardigan added another, but Tenby never gave up and some excellent play between Sam Turton, Luke James, Loui Evans, James John, Ryan O'Neil and Philip Horsley saw Philip, Loui and Curtis scoring again to bring the score even at 8-8.
Still full of running, the final whistle came too soon, but Tenby had played a brilliant first match and congratulations must go to the whole team and their coaches. Keep it up boys!
