Victoria Silvester from Haverfordwest is the lucky winner of £100 worth of shopping vouchers.

Victoria's name was plucked from a hat following a recent Pembrokeshire County Council questionnaire on child care.

The questionnaire was part of a three-year child care sufficiency assessment survey required by the Welsh Assembly.

The questionnaires were issued last autumn to parents with children at a selection of county schools and the names of all respondents were put into a hat to win the shopping vouchers.

"It was fantastic, it's always nice to win a prize," said Victoria, whose 14-year-old daughter attends Ysgol y Preseli in Crymych.

"I was totally shocked. I fill in quite a lot of questionnaires as I think it's important to get my views across."

Victoria was presented with her prize at County Hall recently by Clr. Huw George, cabinet member for children and young people.
