Residents in rural areas are being urged to let the police know if they have any items stolen.
PCSO Jude Parr from the Haverfordwest Rural Neighbourhood Policing team is working to set-up a Farmwatch scheme.
However, as she has been speaking to people, she has discovered people who have had items stolen, but not reported it to the police.
She said: "People have just accepted the loss and not reported it to us. Although we may not be able to locate your stolen items, if we are not aware of it, we can't do anything about it.
"It is important that we are told what crimes are taking place so we can tackle criminals effectively."
Anyone wanting to report a crime can do so via 0845 330 2000. However, in an emergency, always use 999.
