Tenby's RNLI all-weather lifeboat launched at 8.05 am last Fridat after a fishing vessel broke down with gearbox failure nine miles SE of the resort.

The lifeboat found the vessel in calm conditions and then towed it to its outer moorings in Saundersfoot.

The two persons onboard were recovered and taken back to Tenby where they were met by the coastguard rescue team.
