Following a report from Dyfed Powys Police that a vessel had got stuck on a mud bank between Cresswell Quay and Lawrenny, the police rib M88 and Angle RNLI inshore lifeboat were tasked shortly before 3 pm on Saturday.
Soon after, M88 was stood down as there was not a deep enough draft of water.
The ILB then sent a crewman on foot to the vessel to investigate.
After a discussion with the vessel, they were happy to wait there until high water and returned to Neyland Marina.
