Sir,
I am writing to you this morning to express my sincere disappointment that due to lack of public support, the 'Charity Vegas Night' to be held at the Heywood Mount Hotel in Tenby is now cancelled.
I would firstly like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of our sponsors who have either donated their time, products and or services free of charge making this event a reality; your support is truly humbling and I am sorry that we are unable to host the night. I would like to personally thank both local papers and Radio Pembrokeshire for their efforts in marketing the event and Modern Print for their donation of tickets and posters. A special thank you to West Wales Marquees for the free donation of a marquee and Richard Graham, of Big Brum's, for going that extra mile in your help - thank you.
I am truly saddened at the lack of support for this event; I do not know or pretend to understand the reasons behind this outcome. I do question why when so many people ask for....'something to do in the area,' that when something does happen, no one bothers to support it? It is after all not us who loses out, but our chosen causes and to you both, Paul Satori Foundation and Ward 10, Withybush Hospital, I am sorry we have failed to deliver.
Adrian Andrews,
general manager,
Heywood Mount Hotel,
Heywood Lane,
Tenby.
