Vandalism has been caused at Narberth CP School.
During the recent half-term holidays, especially the last weekend of the break, a number of areas within the school grounds at Moorfield Road were damaged.
"These included the slide/tunnel equipment, which gives much pleasure to the children who are under five-years-old," explained headteacher, Mrs. Edna Davies.
"Also, the doors of the shed in the Early Years playground in which all the equipment and toys are kept was kicked in and various toys taken."
In addition, youngsters have also been climbing onto the school roof and damaging the felt on the roof.
"The governors, staff and children are very disappointed to see the damage incurred," continued Mrs. Davies.
"They are proud of their school and take great care of the equipment and the surroundings. It is a great shame that a small number of youngsters are spoiling the opportunity for these children."
The police have been informed and anyone with any information is asked to contact either Mrs. Davies at the school on 860776 or the town's police station on 860389.
