A van was in collision with the front of M. L. Davies, St. John Street, Whitland, on Wednesday evening. Firefighters from the town attended the scene along with the brigade's emergency tender from Carmarthen shortly after 6.30 pm and were involved in making the area safe. A gas main was fractured in the collision and Transco engineers attended to isolate the gas supply.
