Sir, I read Mr. Hughes's letter with interest. 'Born and bred in Tenby', at first I was shocked to see that the Coburg garage was no more. Then I realised and appreciated that the inside of the town walls was now open to public view. Please, let us keep this valuable asset, and invest in Tenby's future by creating a facility that will really put Tenby on the tourist map. Tenby doesn't have an area where visitors can rest their weary feet while they sample a trip into a more refined bout of nostalgia. Tea rooms, ice-cream sundaes... I can almost see Poirot coming to Tenby to rest his little grey cells!
Mrs. D. Burton, Narberth.
