An amazing evening of musical entertainment is lined up at Burnetts Hill Chapel this Valentine’s Day.

Organised by Pembrokeshire Eclectic Music Society, an enjoyable evening is bound to be had on Wednesday, February 14, as the venue welcomes the band Bigfoot.

Promised is an excellent evening of driving twin fiddles, solid rhythm guitar, some amazing popping banjo and all held together securely by the booming double bass, as Bigfoot’s music will make you want to dance... or wiggle!

Bigfoot formed in 2010 to take part in the traditional band competition at Clifftop and walked away taking first place!

They are all fine and seasoned musicians, having been on the scene for many years, each performing in a variety of bands and teaching and passing on skills to those who are inspired to learn from them.

They have a great powerful sound straight from the mountains, having learned from many of the old masters themselves.

Pembrokeshire Eclectic Music Society has been bringing a whole host of top class American musicians to West Wales over the last 10 years including - The White Top Mountain Band, Beverly Smith and Alice Gerrard.

This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the sounds of Appalachian Mountain music here in Pembrokeshire’s very own Burnetts Hill Chapel, Martletwy - a fantastic intimate venue which oozes with character and charm.

The concert starts at 7.30 pm, with tickets available from Main Street Music, Pembroke, at £10.

Call 01646 621530 or Keith on 01646 651725 or just turn up and purchase on the door, although booking is preferable, and avoids disappointment (there will be limited tickets on the door).

The evening will most likely end by returning to the Cresselly Arms at Cresswell Quay for some socialising, allowing concert-goers to meet the band and ask questions or just have a drink with friends.
